A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, October 20, 2004, at 6:45 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present - Chairman Barry, Councilors Bray, Carr, Clemente, Grebien, Hodge, Hoyas, Moran and Wildenhain.
Absent – 0
Chairman Barry presides.
The reading of the records of October 6, 2004, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
THE FORMAL HEARING REGARDING THE FOLLOWING LICENSE WAS LAID ON THE TABLE AT THE MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 22, 2004, AND IS AGAIN TAKEN UP AND RESCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 10, 2004.

Speaking in favor is applicant Marcus Smith, 21 Marshall Road, Milton, MA
Mr. Smith states that he will be operating the same type of store as the current owner. He has 1 employee who worked for the previous owner.
Mr. Smith states that he has experience in this type of business.
Mr. Smith also states that he is the owner of Tropical Vibes on Exchange Street and all those employees are tips certified as well as the new employees at the new store.

Upon motion made by Councilor Bray, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the following license is APPROVED PENDING THE SETTLEMENT OF ALL OUTSTANDING CLAIMS on a unanimous voice vote:

A public hearing is held on the following application for license, which was advertised for a hearing at this time, is taken up:

President Barry states that the Club has been operating for over 40 years and they were unaware that they needed a license for a private club.
