A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, November 6, 2002, at seven seven o’clock p.m. in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – Chairman Barry, Councilors Bray, Carr, Clemente, Grebien, Hoyas, and Wildenhain.
Absent – Councilors Hodge, and Moran.
Chairman Barry presides.
The reading of the records of October 23, 2002, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.

The license holder shall be placed on probation for a six-month period and if any incidents occur during this time frame, which rise to the level of the incident, which took place on February 5, 2002, shall result in a five (5) day suspension and will result in the calling of a new formal hearing on this violation.

Ms. Whit submits a CV Lounge Fact Sheet, which is made part of the record.
She further states that she is a member of the Neighborhood Crime Watch Association.

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Commander Stephen P. Ormerod, requesting that he have all the Class B Victualer Liquor establishments re‑inspected to determine if these business have working kitchens, and that this report be forwarded to the Legal Department for review.
The Clerk is further instructed to send a communication to Margaret M. Lynch-Gadaleta, City Solicitor, requesting a legal opinion on the cause of action the City Council needs to take regarding an inspection that the Police Department is being asked to conduct on all the Class BV Liquor establishments in the City to determine which businesses have operating kitchens and which businesses do not.

In conformity with Chapter 242 of the Public Laws of Rhode Island, 1962, Class B liquor establishments are hereby entitled to remain open on New Year’s morning, January 1, 2003, until 3:00 a.m. Alcoholic beverages CANNOT be sold after the usual closing hour of 1:00 a.m.
