Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners

A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at seven thirty-five o’clock p.m. in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – Chairman Barry, Councilors Bray, Carr, Clemente, Grebien, Hodge, Hoyas, Moran, and Wildenhain.
Absent – 0.
Chairman Barry presides.
The reading of the records of May 8, 2002, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR CLEMENTE.
Upon motion made by Councilor Clemente, seconded by Councilor Bray, the following license is APPROVED with the following changes:
CLASS F (Beer & Wine) –
Petition of Cape Verdean Association of Community Development to serve Beer & Wine at the Sao Joao Day Feast - Cultural Festival (Indoors and Outdoors), 120 High Street, on Saturday, June 22, 2002 from 9:00 2:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m., LIC# 100 (This would be 5th License this year)
The following license is APPROVED on a unanimous voice vote:
Petition of Sacred Heart Church to serve Beer & Wine at the Feast of Sacred Heart Church Indoor & Outdoor Festival (Live Band), 38 Park Street, on Friday, May 31, & Saturday, June 1, 2002, from 6:00 p.m. until 12 Midnight, and on Sunday, June 2, 2002, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., LIC# 99 (This would be 5th License this year)
Upon motion made by Councilor Hodge, seconded by Councilor Grebien, the meeting is adjourned at seven forty o’clock p.m.
