Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners

A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, August 22, 2001, at twelve twenty o’clock p.m. in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – Chairman Barry; Councilors Bray, Carr, Clemente, Grebien, Hoyas, and Wildenhain.
Absent - Councilors Hodge, and Moran.
Chairman Barry presides.
The reading of the records of August 8, 2001, is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.
Communication from Victoria Amaral d/b/a Narragansett Café (Indian Lounge), 192 Columbus Avenue, requesting permission to have a pig roast (Indoors and Outdoors) on Sunday, August 26, 2001, from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR HOYAS.
With majority consent of the Council, upon motion made by Councilor Hoyas, seconded by Councilor Bray, the request of Victoria Amaral d/b/a Narragansett Café (Indian Lounge), 192 Columbus Avenue, for permission to have a pig roast (Indoors and Outdoors) on Sunday, August 26, 2001, from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. is APPROVED with the following STIPULATION, on a unanimous voice vote:

Subject to the approval of the Chief of Police, who will work out all details with the applicant.
Communication from Richard J. Goldstein, Office of Government Affairs, to Janice M. LaPorte, CMC, City Clerk. (Liquor License for the Convergence Arts Festival) is READ AND ORDERED FILED.

Upon motion made by Councilor Bray, seconded by Councilor Grebien, the meeting is adjourned at twelve thirty-five o’clock p.m.
