A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, June 7, 2000, at seven fifty o’clock p.m. at Jenks Junior High School Media Center, Division Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
Present – Chairman Barry, Councilors Bray, Carr, Grebien, Hodge, Hoyas, Moran, and Wildenhain.
Absent – Councilor Clemente.
Chairman Barry presides.
The reading of the records of May 10, 2000, is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.
Communication from Commander Stephen P. Ormerod, to Chief George L. Kelley, III, (Activity report – Club Cosmopolitan April 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30, May 5, 6, 7, 12, 14, 2000), is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
Communication from Victor C. Santos, President Grupo Amigos da Terceira Inc., 55 Memorial Drive, to the Honorable City Council, requesting permission to hold a picnic in the enclosed grounds at 55 Memorial Drive, on July 3, 2000, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. for the purpose of selling food and alcoholic beverages, IS READ AND ORDERED FILED.
Upon motion made by Councilor Hodge, seconded by Councilor Grebien, the following request is LAID ON THE TABLE on a unanimous voice vote:

The Clerk is instructed to send a letter to Chief George L. Kelley, III, asking if he has any problems with this type of activity for the July 3rd date, and to ask for his response in time for the June 21, 2000, meeting.
Upon motion made by Councilor Bray, seconded by Councilor Grebien, the meeting is adjourned at seven fifty-nine o’clock p.m.
