A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, August 9, 2000, at eight o’clock p.m. in City Council Chamber, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – Chairman Barry, Councilors Bray, Hodge, Hoyas, Moran, and Wildenhain.
Absent – Councilors Carr, Clemente, and Grebien
Chairman Barry presides.
COUNCILOR CARR ARRIVES AT EIGHT-ONE O’CLOCK P.M.
The reading of the records of July 19, 2000, is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR BRAY.
With majority consent of the Council, Councilor Bray introduces the following communication:
Communication from John F. Neary, Ltd., regarding DeCrosta Holdings, LLC d/b/a Tony D’s Town Lounge, requesting to withdraw petition for transfer of Town Lounge Inc.
Upon motion made by Councilor Bray, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the following communication is READ AND ORDERED FILED:
Communication from John F. Neary, Ltd., regarding DeCrosta Holdings, LLC d/b/a Tony D’s Town Lounge, requesting to withdraw petition for transfer of Town Lounge Inc.

Communication from Michael F. Horan, Attorney at Law representing K.J. Cummings, Inc d/b/a K C’s Tap at 132 Japonica Street, Pawtucket RI, requesting permission to expand its existing facility by the addition of the adjacent premises (50’ X 50’), as shown in the annexed diagram, is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR WILDENHAIN.
Upon motion made by Councilor Wildenhain, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the request of K.J. Cummings, Inc d/b/a K C’s Tap at 132 Japonica Street, requesting permission to expand its facility (50’ X 50’) to adjacent premises is APPROVED on a unanimous voice vote.
Communication from Michael F. Horan, Attorney at Law representing K.J. Cummings, Inc d/b/a K C’s Tap at 132 Japonica Street, Pawtucket RI, requesting permission to hold an outdoor barbecue, and to sell draft beer in the parking lot adjacent to their business on Japonica Street on Saturday, August 19, 2000, from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
THE CHAIR RECONIZES COUNCILOR WILDENHAIN.
Upon motion made by Councilor Wildenhain, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the following request is APPROVED, with the condition that the entertainment be limited to inside the building, on a unanimous voice vote.

COUNCILOR CLEMENTE ARRIVES AT EIGHT FOUR O’CLOCK
The following Petition for License is APPROVED with the following STIPULATIONS, on a unanimous voice vote:
Petition of Community Center of Grupo Amigos DaTerceira, Inc. 55 Memorial Drive for permission to serve Alcoholic beverages in a tent on, Monday, September 4, 2000, from 12 Noon until 10 p.m.; Friday, September 8, 2000, from 5 p.m. until 12 Midnight; Saturday, September 9, 2000, from 12 Noon until 12 Midnight; and on Sunday, September 10, 2000, from 12 Noon until 10 p.m., LIC# 1417
STIPULATIONS:
1. Three weeks prior to festival, an informational notice must be sent to the neighbors within a 2 block radius, reminding them of the event.
2. The name and telephone number of a contact person must be included on the notice, in the event any neighbor has a question or problem.

Convergence Pawtucket Committee, 13 Summer Street, requesting permission to sell beer and wine at various locations, (See Attached) during the Arts Festival, beginning September 8, 2000, through September 24, 2000, from 5p.m. until 12 midnight.
Upon motion made by Councilor Bray, seconded by Councilor Hodge the meeting is adjourned at eight twelve o’clock p.m.
