A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, June 23, 1999, at seven fifty-five o’clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
Present - Chairman Barry; Councilors Bray, Clemente, Grebien, Hodge, Moran and Wildenhain.
Absent - Councilors Carr and Hoyas
Chairman Barry presides.
The reading of the records of June 9, 1999, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR MORAN.
With majority consent of the Council, Councilor Moran introduces the following communications:
Claim of Arcaro, Belilove and Kolodney, Attorneys at Law, objecting to the transfer of Class B (Victualer) liquor license of Celtic Pub Inc., 755 Broadway (Stock transfer) in the amount of $882.76.
Claim of Arcaro, Belilove and Kolodney, Attorneys at Law, objecting to the transfer of Class B (Victualer) liquor license of Celtic Pub Inc., 755 Broadway (Stock transfer) in the amount of $109.29.
Upon motion made by Councilor Moran, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the following communications are READ AND ORDERED FILED:

Speaking in favor is Attorney George McDonald, 1441 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI, representing the Celtic Pub.
Mr. McDonald states that there will be no changes in the operation of the establishment. He also explains that the only change will be in the stockholders. Mr. Brennan, along with his wife, who have been operating the business for the past seven years, will be the only stockholders.
There are no other speakers.

Community Center of Grupo Amigos DaTerceira, Inc., 55 Memorial Drive, to serve alcoholic beverages in a tent at 55 Memorial Drive on September 6, 10, 11, 12, 1999, during the Annual St. Vincent dePaul Festival. LIC#1307M
STIPULATIONS:
1. Three weeks prior to festival, an informational notice must be sent to the neighbors within a two block radius, reminding them of the event, which was discussed a a neighborhood meeting with the liquor license was applied for.
2. The name and telephone number of a contact person must be included on the notice, in the event any neighbor has a question or problem.
The following petition for license is DENIED on a unanimous voice vote:
CLASS F (Beer & Wine)
Blackstone Valley Tourism Council, Inc., to serve beer and wine at the Ferry Boat Launching Festivities on Monday, July 5, and Tuesday, July 6, 1999 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m., at the Town Landing on Taft Street, LIC#44.
