Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners
February 24, 1999
A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, February 24, 1999, at seven thirty-five o’clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Pawtucket, Rhode Island. All members are present, Chairman Barry presides.
Upon motion made by Councilor Bray, seconded by Councilor Grebien, the reading of the records of February 10, 1999, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
A public hearing is held on the following application for license advertised for this time:
CLASS B (Victualer)
P.M.G. Inc. d/b/a Hose Company #6 636 Central Avenue, LIC#10251
Speaking in favor is Paul Gaudette, 56 Rosewood Avenue, South Attleboro, Ma., President and representative of P.M.G. Inc. d/b/a Hose Company #6.
Mr. Gaudette states that he will run this establishment as a family restaurant, and that he has had previous experience in this type of business. He has run four restaurants in the past and ran Joseph’s in Rehoboth for the last three years.
Mr. Gaudette further states that he understands that there is a “NO LIVE ENTERTAINMENT” stipulation which the Zoning Board of Appeals had placed on this license in September, 1976. He also states he will take steps to have these stipulations removed, because he plans to have light entertainment, such as Kareoke. He will also provide for banquets, Christmas parties and similar events.
There are no speakers in opposition.
