A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, April 7, 1999, at seven thirty seven o’clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
Present - Chairman Barry; Councilors Bray, Carr, Clemente, Hodge, Hoyas, Moran, and Wildenhain.
Absent - Councilor Grebien.
Chairman Barry presides.
The reading of the records of March 24, 1999, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
A FORMAL HEARING is held on the following license:

Representing the City of Pawtucket is Frank Milos, Assistant City Solicitor.

The following motion made by Councilor Moran, seconded by Councilor Clemente, is passed on a unanimous voice vote:
The Class A liquor license of East Street Liquors. 183 East Street, LIC#10020 is SUSPENDED for 2 days, on Friday, April 9, 1999 and Saturday, April 10, 1999 and a FINE in the amount of $1,000.00 is imposed for the following reasons:
1. Delivering intoxicating beverages to a minor on the licensed premises (R.I.G.L 3-8-1).
2. Failure to maintain control of patrons and/or employees, agents, endangering the health, safety and welfare of the general public.
Said fine shall be payable by Tuesday, April 20, 1999.

The clerk is instructed to notify the officers of the Masonic Temple to appear at an INFORMAL HEARING on April 21, 1999, in the City Council Chambers at 7:30 p.m. The purpose of this hearing is to discuss the incident which occurred March 28, 1999, at the Masonic Temple,
Upon motion made by Councilor Bray, seconded by Councilor Clemente, the following petition for license is GRANTED on a unanimous voice vote:

Portuguese Continental Union to serve beer and wine at a dinner to be held in St. Edward’s Church Hall, Weeden Street, on Sunday, April 18, 1999, from 12 Noon - 4:00 p.m. LIC#41
Upon motion made by Councilor Bray, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the meeting is adjourned at eight nine o’clock p.m.
