PAWTUCKET BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS
March 11, 1998
A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, March 11, 1998, at seven thirty-five o’clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Pawtucket, RI. All the members are present except Chairman Barry and Councilor Bray; Vice Chairman Vieira presides.
The reading of the records of February 25, 1998, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
A Public Hearing is held on the following application for license advertised for this time:
CLASS B (VICTUALER)
43 Broad Street Inc., d/b/a News Cafe, 43 Broad Street and 44 Summer Street (Transfer 50% of Stockholders)
Speaking in favor is Richard Rousseau, 15 French Street, Rehoboth, MA
Mr. Rousseau apologizes for missing the meeting on February 25, 1998, he misunderstood that he was expected to be at that meeting.
Mr. Rousseau explains that this is only a stock transfer. The business will remain exactly the same as it has been for the past 2 1/2 years of its existence.
There are no speakers in opposition to this application.
The hearing is closed.
Upon Motion made by Councilor Moran, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the following application for license transfer is GRANTED on a unanimous voice vote:

43 Broad Street Inc., d/b/a News Cafe, 43 Broad Street and 44 Summer Street (Transfer 50% of Stockholders) LIC#237
Upon motion made by Councilor Moran, seconded by Councilor Wildenhain, the meeting is adjourned at seven forty o’clock p.m.
