PAWTUCKET BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS
JANUARY 7, 1998
A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, January 7, 1998, at nine sixteen o’clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Pawtucket, RI. All members are present and Councilor Barry presides.
The reading of the records of December 19, 1997, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
THE ELECTION OF THE CHAIRPERSON OF THE PAWTUCKET BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS IS NOW TAKEN UP.
Upon motion made by Councilor Bray, seconded by Councilor Hodge, Councilor John J. Barry, III is elected CHAIRPERSON of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners on a roll call vote, as follows:
Ayes - Councilors, Barry, Bray, Carr, Grebien, Hodge, Hoyas, Moran, Vieira, and Wildenhain.
Noes - 0.
THE ELECTION OF THE VICE-CHAIRPERSON OF THE PAWTUCKET BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS IN NOW TAKEN UP.
Upon Motion made by Councilor Bray, seconded by Councilor Hodge, Councilor William D. Vieira, Sr. is elected VICE-CHAIRPERSON of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners on roll call vote, as follows:
Ayes - Chairperson Barry, Bray, Carr, Grebien, Hodge, Hoyas, Moran, Vieira, and Wildenhain.
Noes - 0.
A Public Hearing on the following application for license advertised for this time is taken up:

With majority consent of the Council, Councilor Vieira submits the following communication:
