PAWTUCKET BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS

A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, August 5, 1998, at eight ten o’clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Pawtucket, RI. All the members are present and Chairman Barry presides.
The reading of the records of July 22, 1998, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
Communication from Det. Lt. Douglas W. Clary to Captain John Whiting, Liquor Control Officer, regarding police detail at the Cosmopolitan Club is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR VIEIRA.
With majority consent of the Council, Councilor Vieira introduces the following communications:
Communication from Richard E. DeLyon, Chief of Police, to Board of License Commissioners informing Council that Captain Stephen P. Ormerod will be replacing Captain John J. Whiting as investigating officer for liquor law complaints.
Communication from Captain John J. Whiting to Commander Kelley, submitting weekly reports on the Cosmopolitan Club (July 6, 24, August 5, 1998)
Upon motion made by Councilor Vieira, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the following communications are READ AND ORDERED FILED:
