A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, November 6, 1996, at seven fifty five o’clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Pawtucket, RI. All the Members are present except Council President Barry and Councilor Rabbitt; Vice-Chairman Vieira presides.
The reading of the records of October 23, 1996, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
A public hearing is held on the following application for license advertised for this time:
CLASS B (VICTUALER) - TRANSFER AND RENEWAL
Bartenders Inc (transfer from Club Crescendo Inc) 682-684 Roosevelt Avenue LIC#211
Speaking in favor is Jose Faria, 25 Seacrest Avenue, East Providence, RI, applicant.
Mr. Faria states that he will run a small restaurant facility serving appetizers and sandwiches. The establishment can be used as a banquet facility, and he will have entertainment on weekends.
COUNCILOR RABBITT ARRIVES AT 7:43 P.M.
Mr. Faria will have 10 employees.
Also, he ran “Joseph’s Family Restaurant” in East Providence. There will be no structural changes, only cosmetic. All the bartenders are TIPS certified, and he will operate the same hours as Crescendo’s has operated.
