A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners, is held Wednesday, January 24, 1996, at eight forty-one o’clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Pawtucket, RI. All the members are present and Chairman Barry presides.
The reading of the Records of January 10, 1996, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
THE ELECTION OF THE CHAIRPERSON OF THE PAWTUCKET BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS IS NOW TAKEN UP.
Upon motion made by Councilor Vieira, seconded by Councilor Rabbitt Councilor John J. Barry, III, is elected CHAIRPERSON of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners on a roll call vote, as follows:
Ayes - Councilors Barry, Bray, Butler, Cute, Doyle, Hodge, Moran, Rabbitt, and Vieira.
Noes - 0.
THE ELECTION OF THE VICE-CHAIRPERSON OF THE PAWTUCKET BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS IS NOW TAKEN UP.
Upon motion made by Councilor Cute, seconded by Councilor Rabbitt Councilor William D. Vieira, Sr., is elected VICE-CHAIRPERSON of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners on a roll call vote, as follows:
Ayes - Chairperson Barry, Councilors Bray, Butler, Cute, Doyle, Hodge, Moran, Rabbitt, and Vieira.
Noes - 0.
Communication from Joseph E. Gallucci, Liquor Control Administrator regarding El Castillo Restaurant, Inc. (Stay & Hearing date set,) is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR MORAN.
With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Councilor Moran, seconded by Councilor Bray, is passed on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Captain George Kelley requesting copies of the police reports on an incident that took place at Illusions on Middle Street on Friday, January 19, 1996. The Council is also requesting recommendations as to what action the Board should take on this matter.
Upon motion made by Councilor Vieira, seconded by Councilor Moran, the meeting is adjourned at eight forty-six o’clock p.m.
