A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners, is held Wednesday, February 21, 1996, at eight thirty-two o’clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Pawtucket, RI. All the members are present except Councilor Rabbitt, and Chairman Barry presides.
The reading of the records of February 7, 1996, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR VIEIRA.
With majority consent of the Council, Councilor Vieira introduces the following communication:
Communication from Eastern Utilities (Blackstone Valley Electric Co.) objecting to the transfer of Class C liquor license of No Man’s Inc., d/b/a Broadway Pub, 735 Broadway in the amount of $733.03.
Upon Motion made by Councilor Vieira, seconded by Councilor Bray the following communication is READ AND ORDERED FILED:
Communication from Eastern Utilities (Blackstone Valley Electric Co.) objecting to the transfer of Class C liquor license of No Man’s Inc., d/b/a Broadway Pub, 735 Broadway in the amount of $733.03.
A public hearing is held on the following application for license advertised for this time:

No Man’s Inc., d/b/a Broadway Pub (50% change of stockholders) 735 Broadway LIC#204
Speaking in favor is Lisa Farina, 10 Brookfield Rd., East Providence, RI, applicant.
Ms. Farina states that she had three partners, two of them are out of the business; therefore it is necessary to transfer the license.
The operation remains the same.
There are no other speakers.
The hearing is closed.
Upon Motion made by Councilor Moran, seconded by Councilor Vieira, the following application for license is APPROVED PENDING THE SETTLEMENT OF ALL OUTSTANDING CLAIMS:

Communication from Captain George L. Kelley, III, to Richard J. Goldstein, CMC, City Clerk, regarding Illusions, 242 Middle Street is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR MORAN.
With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Councilor Moran, seconded by Councilor Bray, is passed on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Captain Kelley requesting that a copy of the actual police report concerning the incident at Illusions, be forward to Councilor Moran.
The following license is GRANTED on a unanimous voice vote:

St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, to sell beer & wine at the post Parade Party at 67 Garrity Street, On Saturday, March 2, 1996, from 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. LIC#1
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR MORAN.
With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Councilor Moran, seconded by Councilor Vieira, is passed on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Richard E. DeLyon, Chief of Police, requesting that he take the necessary steps to ensure that the necessary amount of police officers are detailed for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and party. Also requested is that the police enforce the parking laws in the vicinity of 67 Garrity Street.
Upon motion made by Councilor Vieira, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the meeting is adjourned at eight forty-three o’clock p.m.
