A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Friday, December 20, 1996, at six twenty-six o’clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Pawtucket, RI. All the members are present except Councilors Bray, Rabbitt, and Vieira; Chairman Barry presides.
The reading of the records of December 11, 1996, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
The following license was APPROVED UNTIL DECEMBER 18, 1996, at the meeting held December 11, 1996, and is again taken up and is APPROVED UNTIL JANUARY 8, 1997:

THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR HODGE.
With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Councilor Hodge, seconded by Councilor Butler, is passed on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to issue a summons to Casa devicente, Inc., 270 Dexter Street, LIC#10187, rescheduling the formal hearing to be held on Wednesday, January 8, 1997.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR MORAN.
With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Councilor Moran, seconded by Councilor Butler, is passed on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Christopher Fay, Assistant City Solicitor, regarding JR’s $av-On Liquors; specifically, Councilor Moran is suggesting that Mr. Fay offer to settle the matter at the Department of Business Regulations by offering a reduction of the suspension time from seven (7) days to five (5) days. If they refuse the offer, Councilor Moran wants him to go forward with the hearing at D.B.R., even if the minor must be produced.
Upon motion made by Councilor Hodge, seconded by Councilor Butler, the meeting is adjourned at six thirty-one o’clock p.m.
