A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, October 6, 1993, at seven forty-two o’clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Pawtucket, RI. All the Members are present except Councilor Rabbitt and President Barry presides.
The reading of the Records of September 22, and 30, 1993, are dispensed with and the Records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR DOYLE.
With majority consent of the Council, upon Motion made by Councilor Doyle, seconded by Councilor Kinder, the following matter is LAID ON THE TABLE on a unanimous voice vote and THE CLERK IS INSTRUCTED TO NOTIFY THE APPLICANT THAT IF HE IS UNABLE TO ATTEND THE HEARING ON OCTOBER 20, 1993, A REPRESENTATIVE MUST BE PRESENT:

CLASS A - ANTONIO FERNANDES D/B/A FERNANDO’S LIQUORS, 558 BROADWAY.
Communication from Frank A. Rendine, P. E., Director of Zoning and Code Enforcement regarding debris and rubbish from property located at 58 Middle Street a/k/a Jan’s Place is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR MORAN.
With majority consent of the Council, the following Motion made by Councilor Moran, seconded by Councilors Kinder and Clement, is passed on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Frank Rendine, Director of Zoning and Code Enforcement, regarding the condition of the property at 58 Middle Street. In particular, the Council is requesting a report on the status of the ownership of this location; and, they want to know if Mr. Rendine has pursued court action against the current owner or receiver of the building; and has he considered cleaning up the establishment, then placing a lien on the property.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR VIEIRA.
With majority consent of the Council, the following Motion made by Councilor Vieira, seconded by Councilor Kinder is passed on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to John Gannon, City Solicitor, requesting an update on the status of the Lily Social Club license and asking that he intervene on behalf of the Board of License Commissioners to pursue the revocation which was voted on by the Board and supported by the Liquor Control Administrator.
THE FOLLOWING PETITION FOR LICENSE IS APPROVED ON A VOICE VOTE, COUNCILOR CLEMENT ABSTAINS:

Upon Motion made by Councilor Vieira, seconded by Councilor Kinder the meeting is adjourned at seven fifty-one o’clock p.m.
