A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Tuesday, November 23, 1993, at six thirty-three o’clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Pawtucket, RI. All the Members are present except Councilor Clement; President Barry presides.
The reading of the Records of November 10, 1993, is dispensed with and the Records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR VIEIRA.
With majority consent of the Council, Councilor Vieira introduces the following Communication:
Communication from John T. Gannon, City Solicitor regarding the renewal of the following liquor licenses:

2. Antonio Fernandes d/b/a Fernando’s Liquors
3. CC & DD Inc., d/b/a Dazzles
Upon Motion made by Councilor Vieira, seconded by Councilor Kinder, the following Communication is READ AND ORDERED FILED:

A Public Hearing is held on the following application for renewal and transfer of license advertised for this time, for the period ending December 1, 1994, is taken up:

Frank R. Balkum, (transfer from R. S. Campy’s Inc - By Trustee, Louis A. Geremia) 863 Newport Ave LIC #10167
Speaking in favor is Henry V. Boezi, III, Esq., 260 W. Exchange Street, Providence, RI, representing Frank Balkum.
Mr. Boezi states that R. S. Campy’s Inc. filed bankruptcy, and an Auction was held in June. Mr. Balkum bid and won rights to the license and equipment. Mr. Balkum is requesting the transfer of the license to him by the Council to complete this transaction.
Mr. Boezi states that Mr. Balkum has entertained offers to purchase the equipment and that Mr. Balkum is deciding what to do with the license.
There are no other speakers.

Upon Motion made by Councilor Vieira, seconded by Councilor Kinder, the following application for license renewal and transfer for the period ending December 1, 1994, is GRANTED WITH THE STIPULATION THAT NO BUSINESS SHALL BE TRANSACTED AT THIS LOCATION PRIOR TO ANOTHER PUBLIC HEARING CONDUCTED BY THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS:
