A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, February 10, 1993, at eight forty o’clock p.m., at Jenks Junior High School, Media Center, 350 Division Street, Pawtucket, RI. All the members are present except Councilor Calista and Chairman Barry presides.
The reading of the records of January 20, 1993, is dispensed with and the Records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR MORAN.
With majority consent of the Council, upon Motion made by Councilor Moran seconded by Councilor Kinder, the Informal Hearing regarding the CLASS B (Victualer) establishment belonging to Joseph DeAngelis d/b/a Central Avenue Grill, 836 Central Avenue regarding proposed renovations at this establishment is STRICKEN FROM THE DOCKET on a unanimous voice vote.
A Public Hearing is held on the following application for license advertised for this time:

Blarney Stone Pub Inc (transfer 50% Stockholders)
140-146 Dexter Street LIC #159
Speaking in favor is Attorney William D. Noonan, 97 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, RI, representing applicant.
Mr. Noonan states that this is a transfer of 66% of the Stock. There will be no changes at the establishment. There have been no significant problems at the Pub. Mr. Haddad will continue to manage the business along with the two new owners. Mr. Haddad has trained them on operating the business.

Speaking in favor is Raymond Lambert, 684 Prospect Street, Pawtucket, RI.
Mr. Lambert states that he is transferring the business to his son; however, he will retain Power of Attorney and there will be no changes at the establishment.

With majority consent of the Council, the following Motion made by Councilor Vieira, seconded by the entire Board of License Commissioners, is passed on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Kate F. Racine, Liquor Control Administrator to thank her for all of the good work and efforts on behalf of the City of Pawtucket and to wish her good luck in her new position with the State of Rhode Island.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR VIEIRA.
With majority consent of the Council, the following Motion made by Councilor Vieira, seconded by Councilor Kinder, is passed on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Governor Bruce Sundlun requesting that whoever is named as a replacement for Kate Racine, Liquor Control Administrator, be as competent and diligent and aggressive on enforcing the State Laws as Ms. Racine was.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR RABBITT.
With majority consent of the Council, the following Motion made by Councilor Rabbitt, seconded by Councilor Kinder, is passed on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Leo LaVault (LaVault’s Restaurant), 55 Memorial Drive, informing him that if the violations as cited by Frank Rendine, Director of Zoning and Code Enforcement, are not corrected within ten days, Mr. LaVault will be called before the Board for a Formal Hearing on the license.

Upon Motion made by Councilor Vieira, seconded by Councilor Kinder, the meeting is adjourned at eight fifty-three o’clock p.m.
