A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Friday, December 17, 1993, at six forty-seven o’clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Pawtucket, RI. All the Members are present except Councilor Doyle; President Barry presides.
The reading of the Records of December 8, 1993, is dispensed with and the Records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
Memorandum from Police Chief, Richard E. DeLyon, regarding Sully’s Pub Inc., 617-627 Prospect Street & 10 Fortin Ave is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
THE CLERK IS INSTRUCTED TO ISSUE A SUMMONS TO THE OWNER OF SULLY’S PUB, INC., 617-627 PROSPECT STREET & 19 FORTIN AVENUE TO APPEAR ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 5, 1994, TO ANSWER CHARGES MADE IN THE POLICE COMPLAINT REGARDING SERVING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AFTER THE LEGAL CLOSING HOUR.
Communication from Antonio DaSilva, owner of Churrasqueira DaBeira, 434 Broadway, requesting permission to remodel an extension to the building is READ AND ORDERED FILED AND THE REQUEST TO REMODEL AN EXTENSION TO THE BUILDING IS APPROVED SUBJECT TO THE ISSUANCE OF ALL PROPER PERMITS BY THE DIRECTOR OF ZONING AND CODE ENFORCEMENT.
In conformity with Chapter 242 Public Laws of Rhode Island, 1962, Class B Establishments are hereby entitled to remain open on New Year’s Morning, January 1, 1994, until 3:00 a.m. Alcoholic Beverages however, CANNOT be sold after the usual closing hour of 1:00 a.m.
In conformity with Section 3-8-1 of the General Laws of the State of Rhode Island, Class C liquor establishments are hereby entitled to be open on New Year’s Day, 1994.

Upon Motion made by Councilor Vieira, seconded by Councilor Kinder, the meeting is adjourned at six fifty-seven o’clock p.m.
