A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, September 23, 1992, at seven fifty-five o’clock p.m. All the members are present except Councilor Rabbitt and Chairman Barry presides.
The reading of the records of September 9, 1992, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
Communication from Kate Racine, Liquor Control Administrator, regarding El Nido Ltd. 210 Dexter Street IS READ AND ORDERED FILED.
INFORMAL HEARING REGARDING THE FOLLOWING LIQUOR ESTABLISHMENT IS TAKEN UP:
CLASS A
International Liquors of 915 Main Street LIC#10018.
Speaking on behalf of and representing the applicant is Dina Veiga, Attorney, 84 Ship Street, Providence, RI.
Ms. Veiga states that Mr. Xavier Called the police himself to inform them that people are buying alcohol for underaged persons and carrying it out of the establishment.
Ms. Veiga also states that Mr. Xavier has owned the establishment for seven years and Mrs. Pina has worked there seven years. They are doing the best they can and they use the underage book often.
Councilor Bray states that she wants all employees to take T.I.P.S training.
There are no other speakers.
The Hearing is closed.

With majority consent of the Council, Councilor Vieira introduces the following application for license:

St. Teresa’s Church Festival Committee to sell beer and wine at a Dinner/Dance, at the Church Hall, Saturday, October 3, 1992 LIC#19.
Upon Motion made by Councilor Vieira, seconded by Councilors Kinder and Calista the following application is granted on a voice vote.
