A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Friday, December 18, 1992, at five thirty-three o’clock p.m. All the members are present, except Councilors Doyle, Rabbitt and Vieira; Chairman Barry presides.
The reading of the records of December 9, 1992, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
Communication from Jose Morales, manager of KLC Associaties d/b/a Macondo, 242 Middle Street, requesting an extension of hours for December 26, 1992 is READ AND ORDERED FILED AND REQUEST TO STAY OPEN UNTIL 3:00 AM IS DENIED.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR MORAN.
With majority consent of the Council, upon Motion made by Councilor Moran, seconded by Councilor Kinder, KLC Associaties d/b/a Macondo’s may serve food and have entertainment until 2:00 a.m. with the Stipulation that two (2) detail officers be on duty until 2:30 a.m. No alcohol will be served after 1:00 a.m.

With majority consent of the Council, the following Motion made by Councilor Calista, seconded by Councilor Kinder, is approved on a voice vote.

The Clerk is instructed to inform the owner of Voutena Inc. that the City Council has once again Tabled his renewal for a liquor license but will allow the establishment to remain open. It is further requested that Mr. Karamanolis meet with Frank Balkum and Mr. Robert Gendreau to work out the problems with this establishment in time for the January 6, 1993, Council meeting.

RI Toreadors Jr. Drum & Bugle Corps to serve alcoholic beverages at a New Year’s Eve Party on December 31, 1992, from 8:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. at 345 Barton St. LIC #24
In conformity with Chapter 242 Public Laws of Rhode Island, 1962, Class B Establishments are hereby entitled to remain open on New Year’s Morning, January 1, 1993, until 3:00 o’clock a.m. Alcoholic Beverages However, CANNOT be sold after the usual closing hour of 1:00 a.m.
In conformity with Section 3-8-1 of the General Laws of the State of Rhode Island, Class C liquor establishments are hereby entitled to be open on New Year’s Day, 1993.
*STIPULATIONS PLACED ON THE FOLLOWING LIQUOR LICENSE
*VOUTENA INC. D/B/A BOOTLEGGER’S SALOON, 852-856 NEWPORT AVENUE
1. Friday and Saturday evenings there will be a detail officer until 2 AM in the parking lot.
2. The Council wants a report from the neighbors on November 6, and November 20.
3. The cooperation from Constantine’s and Mr. Balkum will continue.
4. Constantine’s will be changed into a restaurant January, 1992.
5. Constantine’s will serve more food to be in compliance with the Class B Victualer license.
