A SPECIAL EMERGENCY SESSION of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Tuesday, April 14, 1992, at five nineteen o’clock p.m. All the members are present except Councilors Calista, Rabbitt and Chairman Barry presides.

 

Communication from Council President John J. Barry, III calling a SPECIAL EMERGENCY SESSION of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners for Tuesday, April 14, 1992, at 5:00 PM IS READ AND ORDERED FILED.

 

Communication from Det. Sgt. Robert Byron requesting Emergency Meeting of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners in reference to Star Wine Co., Inc., 318 West Avenue - Class A License #29 IS READ AND ORDERED FILED.

 

FORMAL HEARING REGARDING THE FOLLOWING LIQUOR ESTABLISHMENT IS TAKEN UP:

Gerald Pouliot, Assistant City Solicitor, represents the City of Pawtucket.

 

David Sal Zillo, Attorney, 1616 Cranston St., Cranston, RI, represents Star Wine Co.

Upon Motion made by Councilor Bray, seconded by Councilor Vieira, the Class A Liquor License of Star Wine Co., 318 West Avenue IS SUSPENDED FOR 7 DAYS on a unanimous voice vote:

 

SUSPENSION FOR 7 DAYS BEGINNING ON SATURDAY, APRIL 11, 1992, AND ENDING ON SUNDAY, APRIL 19, 1992, FOR THE FOLLOWING REASON:

 

1.         Selling to underaged persons.

 

Upon Motion made by Councilor Vieira, seconded by Councilor Kinder, the meeting is adjourned at five thirty-six o’clock p.m.
