A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, November 6, 1991, at eight fifteen o’clock p.m. All the members are present except Councilmen William Lynch and Robert Lynch and Chairman Houle presides.

 

The reading of the records of October 23, 1991, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.

A.        Doors are kept closed at all times.

B.         One (1) police detail must be provided on the night (s) or day (s) of entertainment. If a police detail is not secured on a day or night of entertainment then the entertainment must be canceled by owner or someone responsible for the Dublin Inn.

2.         Doors will be kept closed at all times.

3.         No motor cycles will be parked on the sidewalk on either Dean Street or Columbus Avenue.

4.         No outside drinking in fenced in area or entire parking lot at any time.

5.         Evacuate patrons in parking lot at closing time - No Loitering.

6.         Each morning or afternoon, the owner or manager are to walk around the establishment and surrounding homes and pick up beer bottles.

7.         No more than 76 people in the building, per order of the Fire Chief.

8.         No longer will there be any Wednesday specials or any other specials on any nights, per State law Chapter 7, Section 3-7-26.

Thursday - Sunday must close at Midnight.

Friday & Saturday must close at 1:00 AM.

1.         Any violation of closing time will result in the licensee appearing before the City Council.

2.         Noise of any kind be confined to the inside of the licensed premises.

3.         Licensee and agent shall police the immediate area for trash on a regular basis - particularly the dumpster area.

4.         Local ordinances dealing with disturbance of the peace be strictly enforced with regards to the noise from the establishment itself and any of its patrons.

5.         Board of License Commissioners be notified of any infractions of the law upon their occurrence.

 

VOUTENA INC. D/B/A CONSTANTINE’S, 852-856 NEWPORT AVENUE

 

1.         Friday and Saturday evenings there will be a detail officer until 2 AM in the parking lot.

 

2.         The Council wants a report from the neighbors on November 6, and November 20.

 

3.         The cooperation from Constantine’s and Mr. Balkum will continue.

 

4.         Constantine’s will be changed into a restaurant January, 1992.

 

5.         Constantine’s will serve more food to be in compliance with the Class B Victualer license.

 

CLASS C

 

TODD’S PUB INC., 735 BROADWAY

 

1.         New owner will post a sign in the window and at the bar asking patrons not to park in the parking lot across the street. Further, the owner is requested to inform patrons as they come into the bar not to park in this lot.

 

CLASS D (FIRST CLASS)

 

THE AMERICAN POLISH MUTUAL ASSOCIATION, 927-929 CENTRAL AVENUE.

 

1.         Uniform police detail outside Friday & Saturday evenings from 9:30 PM - 1:30 AM.

2.         Maximum number of people to be determined by Fire Marshall.

3.         No live entertainment.

4.         Must monitor parking in front and around establishment for illegal parking. (STIPULATION IMPOSED ON OCTOBER 24, 1990.)

 

DANTE ALIGHIERI SOCIAL CLUB, 22 HURLEY AVENUE

 

1.         “Last Call” be held at the establishment at 12:30 AM and the establishment be cleared of patrons by 1:00 AM.

2.         A private uniformed person be hired on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings to maintain order and to patrol the outside of the building from the hours of 8:30 PM to 1:30 AM.

3.         The licensee is reminded that no drinking is allowed outside the establishment.

 

Upon Motion made by Councilman Barry, seconded by Councilman Kinder, the meeting is adjourned at eight thirty-three o’clock p.m.
