A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, December 11, 1991, at eight twelve o’clock p.m. All the members are present except Councilman Robert Lynch and Chairman Barry presides.
The reading of the records of November 20, 1991, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
Claim of Eastern Utilities Co. against the transfer of Class B Limited Liquor license of Margaret Dakake d/b/a Liberty Lunch, 732 Central Avenue to R.S. Campy’s Inc. d/b/a Pizza Palace, 683 Newport Avenue IS READ AND ORDERED FILED.

With majority consent of the Council, Councilman Calista introduces the following communication:

R. S. Campy’s Inc. d/b/a Pizza Palace, 863 Newport Avenue (transfer from Margaret Dakake d/b/a Liberty Lunch, 732 Central Avenue.) LIC#138
Speaking in favor is Attorney Joseph C. Salvadore, 260 W. Exchange Street, Providence, Rhode Island, representing applicant Ron Campanelli of 31 Farfield Street, Seekonk.
Mr. Salvadore states that R. S. Campy’s Inc. d/b/a Pizza Palace serves pizza, sandwiches and pasta and wants a beer and wine license to keep up with the competition. Mr. Campanelli has invested money to renovate the establishment since the opening.
Mr. Campanelli states that the establishment seats 45 people and the hours of operation are Monday - Thursday 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Friday - Saturday 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, and Sunday 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Upon Motion made by Councilman Doyle, seconded by Councilman Calista and Kinder, the following application for Class B Victualer liquor license is approved on a unanimous voice vote:

Stooge’s Inc. (Transfer 50% of Stockholders), 90 Broad Street. LIC#139
Speaking in favor is Attorney Daniel Silva of 50 Summit Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, representing applicant Mr. Jose Camara of 80 Green Street.
Mr. Silva states that Mr. Camara wants to buy 50% of the stock from his brother.
Mr. Silva states that there will be no other changes in the operation.

THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILMAN KINDER.
Upon Motion made by Councilman Kinder, seconded by Councilman Vieira, the Board REVOKES the right of the Lily Social Club to operate, for violations of state law and the court ordered Stay of the revocation of their license by serving alcohol outside of the premises, ON A UNANIMOUS VOICE VOTE.
Upon Motion made by Councilman Vieira, seconded by Councilman Kinder, the meeting is adjourned at eight twenty-eight o’clock p.m.
