A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, April 24, 1991, at eight twenty-three o’clock p.m. All the members are present and Chairman Houle presides.
The reading of the records of April 10, 1991, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
The following license is denied on a unanimous voice vote, based on the lack of off-street parking for this establishment:
CLASS F (Beer & Wine)
Cape Verdean Cultural Association, to serve Beer & Wine at a Dinner/Dance for members at 44 West Ave., on Saturday May 11, 1991 from 9 PM - 1 AM.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILMAN BARRY.
With majority consent of the Council, Councilman Barry, introduces the following entitled communication:
Communication from Michael F. McCann, Legal Counsel, Liquor Control Administration, rescheduling the hearing for Snicker’s Inc d/b/a LaVault’s Restaurant until Wednesday, July 17, 1991.
Upon Motion made by Councilman Barry, seconded by Councilman Vieira, the following entitled communication is Read and Ordered Filed:

With majority consent of the Council, Councilman Doyle introduces the following entitled communication:
Communication from Thomas Olbrych, Vice President of the American Polish Mutual Association, 927-929 Central Avenue requesting the Stipulation for a police officer on Thursday evenings be lifted.
Upon Motion made by Councilman Doyle, seconded by Councilmen Calista and Kinder, the following entitled communication is Read and ordered Filed:
Communication from Thomas Olbrych, Vice President of the American Polish Mutual Association, 927-929 Central Avenue requesting the Stipulation for a police officer on Thursday evenings be lifted.
The Clerk is instructed to notify the Polish Home that this stipulation will be removed pending a written communication from Mr. Cheetham, the spokesman for the neighbors.
Upon Motion made by Councilman Barry, seconded by Councilman Kinder, the meeting is adjourned at eight twenty-eight o’clock p.m.
