A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, October 10, 1990, at seven thirty-eight o’clock p.m. All the members are present except Councilman Robert Lynch; and Chairman Houle presides.
The reading of the records of September 19, 1990, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
Communication from Gerald J. Pouliot, Assistant City Solicitor - Portugalia Liquors hearing date rescheduled to October 22, 1990 is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
Copy of Stay Regarding Portugalia Liquors is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
Communication from Robert M. Brady, Attorney, submitting petition of objection of the property owners of the greater part of the land within 200 feet of the proposed location for the Class B transfer of the 33rd Inning Pub, Inc. 176 Meadow Street is READ AND ORDERED FILED.

Stooge’s Inc d/b/a Stooge’s Pub & Deli, 90 Broad Street on Friday, Saturday and Sunday Evenings from 9 PM - 1 AM (2 piece band)
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILMAN VIEIRA.
The following Motion made by Councilman Vieira, seconded by Councilman Barry to remove the “No Entertainment Stipulation” for a six month trial period, is passed on a voice vote. Councilman Calista abstains from voting.
The Clerk is instructed to notify Stooge’s Inc., 90 Broad Street, that a Class B Entertainment license for a six month trial period may be issued to allow for a 2 piece band.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILMAN BARRY.
With majority consent of the Council the following Motion made by Councilman Barry, seconded by Councilman Kinder, is passed on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to Summons a representative of the Dante Alighieri Social Club, 22 Hurley Avenue, to attend a formal hearing of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners on October 24, 1990 to answer questions regarding numerous neighborhood complaints and to show cause why said Class D liquor License should not be revoked.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILMAN DOYLE.
With majority consent of the Council, the following Motion made by Councilman Doyle, seconded by Councilman Rabbitt, is passed on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to contact Commander Richard DeLyon requesting that the police department monitor the Polish American Club at the corner of Daggett and Central Avenues for illegal activities in the area, every night for a period of two weeks beginning on October 11, through October 23, 1990; and have the second and third shift prepare a report for each night to be presented to the Council in time for the meeting scheduled for October 24, 1990.

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Commander Richard DeLyon request a printout of all police activity at the Cape Verdian American Lounge, Inc., 17 Exchange Street, for the last 60 days.

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Frederick A. Duffy, President of the Dublin Inn informing him that as of October 19, 1990, the number of detail officers that will be required on weekends will be reduced from two to one officer.
