A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, March 7, 1990, at nine forty o’clock p.m. All the members are present except Councilman Robert Lynch; and Chairman Houle presides.
The reading of the records of February 21, 1990, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
Petition against State Line Pharmacy to receive a Class A Liquor License is SUBMITTED AND ORDERED FILED.
The following application was Laid on the Table at the meeting held February 21, 1990, and is again taken up, and upon Motion made by Councilman William Lynch, seconded by Councilman Doyle and Kinder, the following application for license is GRANTED on a roll call vote, as follows:
Ayes - President Houle, Councilmembers Barry, Doyle, Kinder, William Lynch and Rabbitt.
Noes - Councilman Vieira
Abstain - Councilman Calista

THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILMAN DOYLE.
With majority consent of the Council, the following Motion made by Councilman Doyle, seconded by Councilman Calista is passed on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to John W. Tomlinson, Chief of Police, requesting an explanation why the Polish Home on Central Avenue is unable to obtain a police detail for Friday and Saturday nights, as was requested by the Council. Also requested is a police report on all activity at that establishment since December 6, 1989 in time for the March 21, 1990, meeting.
Upon Motion made by Councilman Barry, seconded by Councilman Kinder, the meeting is adjourned at nine fifty-three o’clock p.m.
