A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, February 7, 1990, at eight fifteen o’clock p.m. All the members are present except Councilman Calista, and Chairman Houle presides.
The reading of the records of January 24, 1990, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
Decision of Gerald S. Goldstein, Liquor Control Administrator, scheduling the continuance of the hearing for Ride’s Restaurant to March 7, 1990 is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
Communication from Gerald S. Goldstein, Liquor Control Administrator, setting March 14, 1990 for hearing regarding the Lopes Liquor license transfer is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
Claim of McLaughlin & Moran Inc., objecting to the transfer of Class C liquor license of BSP Inc. d/b/a Benefit Street Pub, 433 1/2 Benefit Street to Benefit Street Pub Inc., in the amount of $1,315.67 is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
A Public Hearing is held on the following application for license advertised for this time:

Speaking in favor is Christopher Kinch, 34 Potter Street, Pawtucket, RI.
Mr. Kinch states he will spruce up the outside of the building, the hours will remain the same, and there will be no entertainment.
There are no speakers in opposition.

Upon Motion made by Councilman William Lynch, seconded by Councilmen Kinder and Robert Lynch, the following application for license is APPROVED PENDING THE CLEARANCE OF ALL OUTSTANDING CLAIMS, on a unanimous voice vote:

THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILMAN WILLIAM LYNCH.
With majority consent of the Council, the following Motion made by Councilman William Lynch seconded by Councilman Barry, is passed on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Fred E. Joslyn, Jr., City Solicitor, requesting an update on the status of the Lopes Liquors Case.
Upon Motion made by Councilman Barry, seconded by Councilman Kinder, the meeting is adjourned at eight twenty o’clock p.m.
