A special session of the Pawtucket City Council was held Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 5:43 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

Present – President Mercer; Councilors Araujo, Moran, Moreno, Rubio, Stachowiak, and Wildenhain.

 

Absent – Councilors Coderre and Gregor.

 

President Mercer presided.

 

 

1.      591 Communication from Terrence E. Mercer, Council President, to the Honorable Members of the Pawtucket City Council, calling a special session of the City Council on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. was READ AND ORDERED FILED.

 

 

THE COUNCIL RECESSED AT 5:44 PM TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE FOLLOWING:

 

2.      AMENDMENTS TO THE ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET 2026-2027

 

THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS ADJOURNED AT 5:45 PM.

Upon motion made by Councilor Araujo, seconded by the entire City Council, the meeting was adjourned at 6:15 PM.
