1.      Mayor-elect Donald R. Grebien, the City Council-elect and the School Committee-elect of the City of Pawtucket, for the 2025-2027 term, assembled for the inaugural activities taking place on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., in the Henry J. Winters Elementary School cafeteria, 481 Broadway, Pawtucket, RI.

Welcome was offered by the Honorable Sandra Cano, Master of Ceremonies.

Invocation was offered by Father Simão Moniz, the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish; & Rabbi Barry Dolinger, Congregation Beth Shalom.

Pledge of Allegiance was led by John Gallo, President, Pawtucket Veterans Council.

The National Anthem was sung by students from the Jacqueline M. Walsh School for the Performing and Visual Arts chorus, under the direction of Scott Beauregard.

Upon motion made by Councilor Moran, seconded by Councilor Gregor, the name of Councilor Terrence E. Mercer was placed in nomination for City Council President.

With no other names placed in nomination, upon motion made by Councilor Araujo, seconded by Councilor Coderre, the nominations for City Council President were closed, on a unanimous voice vote.
