City Council, January 10, 2018
A regular session of the Pawtucket City Council is held Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at 7:11 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – President Moran, Councilors Barry, Cano, Mercer, Rudd, Vitali and Wildenhain.
Absent – Councilors Kallman and Tetreault.
President Moran presides.
THE COUNCIL RECESSES IMMEDIATELY TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE FOLLOWING:

With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Councilor Rudd, seconded by Councilor Barry, is PASSED on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Angelo Calcagni, Link Environmental, LLC, requesting that he attend a pre-council session on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, to answer the Council’s questions including:
· How much money has Link Environmental invested to improve the Grotto Avenue property over the past five (5) years?
· How much has Link spent on rat abatement at the Grotto Avenue site?
· What are your plans to clean up the Grotto Avenue facility?
· Other questions not noted at the January 10 Council meeting may also be asked.

591 APPOINTMENT OF AGUEBA DEL BORGO TO THE ARTS PANEL REVIEW COMMITTEE.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR RUDD.
With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Councilor Rudd, seconded by Councilors Wildenhain and Barry, is PASSED on a unanimous voice vote:
The clerk is instructed to send a communication to His Honor, Mayor Donald R. Grebien, and Angelo Calcagni, Link Environmental, LLC, requesting any information either know about a new group called “Clean Pawtucket,” which has been sending out emails and other materials over the past few weeks. Specifically, the Council is asking if they know who “Clean Pawtucket” is and who is funding their propaganda campaign, through their emails, mailers and website.
