City Council, April 16, 2018

 

 

A special session of the Pawtucket City Council is held Monday, April 16, 2018, at 7:01 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI. 

 

Present – President Moran, Councilors Barry, Mercer, Vitali and Wildenhain.

 

Absent – Councilors Kallman, Rudd and Tetreault.

 

(UPON ELECTION TO THE RI STATE SENATE, DISTRICT 8, COUNCILOR CANO RESIGNED FROM THE CITY COUNCIL EFFECTIVE APRIL 12, 2018)

 

President Moran presides.

 

Communication from Council President, David P. Moran, calling a Special Session of the City Council on Monday, April 16, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. is READ AND ORDERED FILED.

 

The following resolution is read and PASSED on a roll call vote, as follows:

 

AYES – President Moran, Councilors Barry, Mercer, Vitali and Wildenhain.

 

NOES – 0.

 

588   RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF LEGISLATION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO COMBINE VOTING DISTRICTS FOR THE SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL ELECTION IN 2018.

 

 

Upon motion made by Councilor Mercer, seconded by the entire City Council, the meeting is adjourned at 7:03 p.m.
