City Council, September 9, 2015
A regular session of the Pawtucket City Council is held Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at 8:25 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – President Moran, Councilors Barry, Bray, Cano, Hodge, Mercer, Rudd, Tetreault and Wildenhain.
Absent – 0.
President Moran presides.
The reading of the records of August 19, 2015 is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.
Upon motion made by Councilor Hodge, seconded by Councilor Tetreault, the *Consent Agenda is APPROVED, on a unanimous voice vote.

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Lance Hill, PE, Director of Public Works, and John Blais, Director, Parks & Recreation, requesting the cost of preparing and placing signs at Max Reed Field noting that alcoholic beverages are not allowed at the field and also indicating the closing time at the field. Councilor Cano has received complaints from neighbors about noise, drinking and rowdiness at the field during the night.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR MERCER.
With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Councilor Mercer, on behalf of Council President Moran, seconded by Councilor Hodge, is PASSED on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Barney S. Heath, Director, Planning & Redevelopment, requesting an update on the vacant/abandoned housing report. The Council is requesting quarterly updates in the future.
