City Council, April 23, 2014
A regular session of the Pawtucket City Council is held Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at 7:18 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – President Moran, Councilors Barros, Barry, Hodge, Mercer, Rudd, Tetreault, Vitali and Wildenhain.
Absent – 0.

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Paul King, Chief of Police, and Antonio J. Pires, Public Safety Director, requesting that the police department strictly enforce the ordinances regarding soliciting money from drivers at busy intersections in an effort to prevent anyone from getting hurt or killed through this practice.

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Mayor Donald R. Grebien and Lance Hill, PE, Director of Public Works, requesting that when they complete their inspection to determine if there is mold in city hall, they provide the council with the results of the inspection. If it turns out that there is a problem, the council wants to know what the plan is to eliminate it.

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Paul King, Chief of Police, requesting that the police department take action to slow down speeding traffic on Grosvenor Avenue and the surrounding area. The council is requesting the speed monitoring signs and radar patrols on this street.
