City Council, September 19, 2012
A regular session of the Pawtucket City Council is held Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at 7:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present - Councilors Barros, Barry, Chadwick, Hodge, O’Neill, Tetreault, Vitali and Wildenhain.
Absent – President Moran.
President Pro-Tempore Hodge presides.
The reading of the records of September 5, 2012 is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.
Upon motion made by Councilor Barry, seconded by Councilor Barros, the *Consent Agenda is APPROVED, on a unanimous voice vote.

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Paul King, Chief of Police, requesting that once the police reorganization is done, the Council receive an updated comprehensive organizational chart, which includes all uniform and civilian employees. Also, they asked if this reorganization would result in any changes to their list of contacts at the police department.

Petition for a Second Hand Shop License (Class C - used miscellaneous merchandise) by Mary Crum Inc., d/b/a Mary’s Yard Sale, 345 Barton Street, Tax Assessors Plat 44, Lot 426, to keep a shop for the purpose of purchasing and selling second hand articles, specifically used collectables, furnishings, clothing etc. LIC#8368, which was advertised for a hearing at this time, is taken up:
Speaking in favor is applicant Mary Crum, 24 Charles Street, Cranston, RI 02920.
Ms. Crum states that her dad and her grandfather worked for the company. She bought the company in 2006. This business has been in Pawtucket for 17 years. She would like to add a retail/second hand business to the current moving business.
Her hours of operation will be Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Ms. Crum states that she has parking available across the street. If this store works out, she plans on expanding the hours.
There are no other speakers. The Public Hearing is closed.
