A special session of the Pawtucket City Council is held Monday, October 15, 2012, at 6:05 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – President Moran; Councilors Barry, Chadwick, Hodge, O’Neill, Tetreault, Vitali and Wildenhain.
Absent – Councilor Barros.
President Moran presides.

COUNCILOR BARROS ARRIVES AT 6:08 P.M.
THE COUNCIL RECONVENES AT 6:10 P.M.
Communication from Council President David P. Moran, calling a Special Session of the City Council on Monday, October 15, 2012, at 6:00 p.m., is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
The following resolution is read and PASSED on a roll call vote, as follows:
AYES – President Moran; Councilors Barros, Barry, Chadwick, Hodge, O’Neill, Tetreault, Vitali and Wildenhain.
NOES – 0.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN INQUIRY INTO THE PROPOSED PRIVATIZATION OF TRASH COLLECTION SERVICES, AS PROVIDED FOR IN SECTION 2 400-404 OF THE PAWTUCKET CITY CHARTER AND REQUESTING THAT NO ACTION BE TAKEN ON ANY CONTRACT UNTIL THE COMPLETION OF SUCH INQUIRY.
Upon motion made by Councilor Hodge, seconded by the Councilor Chadwick, the meeting is adjourned at 6:12 p.m.
