The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Michael E. Burns, Traffic Engineering Supervisor, requesting that he study the parking on Camac Street. The Council is concerned that with people parking on both sides of the street, emergency vehicles cannot get down the street. This is especially true when people park there to get to the ball fields in Slater Park. The Council is asking for recommendations.

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to John Hanley, Acting Director of Zoning and Code Enforcement, requesting that he inspect the smoke stack at Key Container Corporation. The Council is seeking recommendations on the best way to resolve the soot and odor problems coming from the stack. Also, they want to know if the problems with the stack are in violation of any laws and/or regulations and if any new laws and/or regulations need to be implemented to address the problems there.
