A regular session of the Pawtucket City Council is held Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at 12:13 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present - President Moran, Councilors Barros, Barry, Chadwick, Hodge, O’Neill, Tetreault, Vitali and Wildenhain.
Absent – 0.
President Moran presides.
The reading of the records of August 8, 2012 is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.
Upon motion made by Councilor Hodge, seconded by Councilor Chadwick, the *Consent Agenda is APPROVED, on a unanimous voice vote.

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Antonio Pires, Director of Administration, requesting that he look into the feasibility of consolidating all city offices in a building located at 100 Freight Street. This would include City Hall, the School Administration building, the police and fire departments, the planning department and the public works department.

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to His Honor, Mayor Donald R. Grebien and to Lance Hill, PE, Director of Public Works, requesting a status report on the privatization of the trash hauling in Pawtucket. The Council would like to know where that matter stands and when a decision may be expected.
