A regular session of the Pawtucket City Council is held Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at 7:51 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present - President Moran, Councilors Barros, Barry, Chadwick, Hodge, O’Neill, Vitali, Tetreault and Wildenhain.

With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Councilor O’Neill, seconded by Councilor Hodge, is PASSED on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Joseph Roque, Purchasing Director, requesting that he attend a pre-council session on July 6, 2011, to discuss the RFP process for the privatization of the fire department rescue service. The Council is requesting that he extend the deadline for submission of the proposals to ensure that all interested vendors have sufficient time to make accurate proposals.
The Council is also requesting that former Mayor Robert Metivier, as chairman of the committee overseeing the privatization of the rescue services, be present at the pre-council session.
