A regular session of the Pawtucket City Council is held Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at 8:23 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present - President Moran, Councilors Barros, Barry, Hodge, O’Neill, Vitali, Tetreault and Wildenhain.

Vitali d/b/a Car Pros Tire Sales and Auto Service, (transfer from Tire Pros of RI Inc., d/b/a Tire Pros), 21 Division Street, Tax Assessors Plat 23, Lot 565, to keep a shop for the purpose of repairing automobiles and purchasing and selling second hand articles, specifically used auto parts for said repair LIC#6787 & #6858, which was advertised for a hearing at this time, is taken up:
Speaking in favor is Gregory Nazarian, 1063 North Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301, attorney for the applicant. Also present is Marcus Vitali, 39 Oak Avenue, Attleboro, MA, applicant.
Mr. Nazarian states that the applicant, Mr. Vitali will continue the current business; nothing new will be added to the business.
Mr. Vitali states that the business will be doing auto repair and tire sales. He will be doing no body work. He will be working on 3 to 5 autos on a good day.
He states that all vehicles will be stored behind the building, and there will be no auto sales.
Mr. Vitali states he has worked on auto repairs and sales in both Cumberland and Attleboro.
He states that he leases the property now, but will close on the property on July 6, 2011.
Also speaking is Lewis Soares, 18 Chestnut Street, Pawtucket, RI.
Mr. Soares states that he is a member of the Riverfront Commission. They have concerns regarding the integrity of the building. They want Mr. Vitali to keep up with the development along the riverfront.
