The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to John E. Carney, Director of Public Works, requesting that the public works department check on and fill the reported pothole at Gardner Street and Dickens Street and also the one on Roosevelt Avenue, near The Super Dragon Restaurant. This request is based on complaints from the Councilor’s constituents.

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to George L. Kelley, III, Chief of Police, requesting that the police set up radar patrols for one week on Dickens Street, going from Mendon Avenue to Broadway, and on Roosevelt Avenue, going from Broadway to Mendon Avenue, between the hours of 7:00-8:30 a.m. and about 4:00 p.m. This request is based on complaints from the Councilor’s constituents.

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to John E. Carney, Director of Public Works and Ronald F. Travers, Director of Zoning and Code Enforcement, requesting that they look into whether the city has any authority to regulate the blowing of horns by the Providence/Worcester railroad or other railroads traveling through Pawtucket. This request is based on a complaint from the Councilor’s constituent living on Dickens Street that the P&W trains are blowing their horns about every other hour throughout the day.
