City Council, September 19, 2007
A regular session of the Pawtucket City Council is held Wednesday, September 19, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – President Bray, Councilors Barry, Hodge, Kinch and Moran.
Absent – Councilors Carr, Chadwick, Grebien and Wildenhain.
President Bray presides.
The reading of the records of September 5, 2007 is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.
Upon motion made by Councilor Hodge, seconded by Councilor Barry, the *Consent Agenda is APPROVED, on a unanimous voice vote.

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to George L. Kelley, III, Chief of Police, requesting that the police set up a radar patrol for one week on Bloodgood Street, between Wheeler Street and Gould Street, between the hours of 1:30-6:00 p.m.

With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Councilor Barry, seconded by Councilor Hodge, is PASSED on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Margaret M. Lynch-Gadaleta, Esq., City Solicitor, requesting an answer to Councilor Barry’s question about the need for changes to the city’s waste hauler ordinances, specifically, but not limited to §347-10D of the Pawtucket Code of Ordinances, so that future cases will not have to be dismissed. The City council has tabled the renewal of several waste hauler licenses three times pending a response to this question. They would like to resolve this matter at the October 10, 2007 meeting.
