City Council, January 1, 2007
The City Council-elect of the City of Pawtucket for 2007-2008 assembles Monday, January 1, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, where the Inaugural Exercises are held.
Invocation is offered by William Locke, Rector of St. Paul’s Church in Pawtucket.
Pledge of Allegiance is led by Police Officer Sean Pitts and Police Officer Jeffery Cook, both of whom recently returned from tours of duty in Iraq.
The National anthem is sung by the Pawtucket Youth Chorus, under the direction of Cheryl McWilliams, Tolman High School and Anita Adams, Shea High School.

Upon motion made by Councilor Wildenhain, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the nominations for City Council President are closed, on a unanimous voice vote.
