City Council, August 25, 2004
A regular session of the Pawtucket City Council is held Wednesday, August 25, 2004, at 12:03 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – President Barry, Councilors Bray, Carr, Hodge, Hoyas, Moran, and Wildenhain.
Absent – Councilors Clemente and Grebien.
President Barry presides.
The reading of the records of August 11, 2004, is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.
Upon motion made by Councilor Bray, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the *Consent Agenda is APPROVED, on a unanimous voice vote.

Communication from Ingrid Vincenzo to the Honorable Members of the Pawtucket City Council. (Requesting $5000 reimbursement for property taxes on a portion of her land acquired by the City) is READ AND ORDERED FILED and REFERRED TO THE FINANCE COMMITTEE.
Communication from John Stratis to the Honorable John J. Barry, III and Members of the Pawtucket City Council. (Request for Street Abandonment of a portion of Tyler Street from the intersection with Division Street to the rear of his properties) is READ AND ORDERED FILED and REFERRED TO THE CITY PROPERTY COMMITTEE AND THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION.

With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Councilor Hoyas, seconded by Councilor Wildenhain, is PASSED on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Michael D. Cassidy, Director of Planning and Redevelopment and Ronald F. Travers, Director, Zoning and Code Enforcement, requesting that they both coordinate a campaign to notify all retail establishments in the city, regarding the prohibition of any type of tobacco advertising.
