City Council, April 24, 2002
A regular session of the Pawtucket City Council is held Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at eight o’clock p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – President Barry, Councilors Bray, Carr, Clemente, Grebien, Hodge, Moran and Wildenhain.

The Clerk is instructed to send a letter to Pamela M. Marchand, P.E., Chief Engineer, Pawtucket Water Supply Board, regarding the streets that are being affected because of the continuing pipe replacement/relining program.
The Council is requesting the following steps are implemented.
1. When overlaying the streets, make sure that the curbing is not going to be below the grade. If necessary, the Council is requesting that the curbing be re-set.
2. When striping crosswalks, make sure that the lines are in conformity with other crosswalks in the vicinity.
3. There are a number of streets that have been overlaid where the trench is not wide or deep enough with the intersecting street, in these cases the Council is asking that more attention be made to making sure that the overlay will withstand the test of time.
