City Council, May 30, 2000
A special session of the City Council is held Tuesday, May 30, 2000, at six six o’clock p.m., at Jenks Jr. High School, Media Center, Division Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
Present - President Barry, Councilors Bray, Carr, Clemente, Grebien, Hodge, Moran, and Wildenhain.
Absent – Councilor Hoyas.President Barry presides.
THE COUNCIL RECESSES IMMEDIATELY TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE FOLLOWING:
RESOLUTION SETTING THE TAX RATES FOR THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2000-2001.
THE COUNCIL RECONVENES AT SIX SEVEN O’CLOCK PM.

UPON RECOMMENDATION OF THE FINANCE COMMITTEE, THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION IS READ FOR THE FIRST TIME AND PASSED ON A ROLL CALL VOTE, AS FOLLOWS:

RESOLUTION SETTING THE TAX RATES FOR THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2000-2001.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR HOYAS.
With majority consent of the Council, Councilor Hoyas states for the record that he would have voted in the affirmative on all budget items if he was present at the time of the votes.
Upon motion made by Councilor Bray, seconded by Councilor Wildenhain, the meeting is adjourned at six thirteen o’clock p.m.
