City Council, March 24, 1999
A regular session of the Pawtucket City Council is held Wednesday, March 24, 1999, at eight five o’clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall. All the members are present, except Councilor Bray; President Barry presides.
The reading of the records of March 10, 1999, is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.
The Council recesses immediately to conduct the meeting of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners.
The Council reconvenes at eight twenty-five o’clock p.m.

Petition for an Auto Repair Shop and Second Hand Shop License (Class A & B) of Robert Teixeira d/b/a Xpress One Auto Sales and Repair, 540 Weeden Street, Plat 48, Lot 256, to keep a shop for the purpose of repairing automobiles and purchasing and selling second hand articles, specifically used vehicles and parts, LIC# 30238, 40249, which was advertised for a hearing at this time, is taken up:

Mr. Teixeira asks for the Council’s approval of this license.
Councilor Clemente is concerned with abandoned vehicles on the property.

Councilor Clemente wants assurance that junk will be disposed of immediately.
