City Council, August 27, 1999
A special session of the Pawtucket City Council is held Friday, August 27, 1999, at four thirty-seven o’clock p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – President Barry, Councilors Bray, Carr, Hodge, Hoyas, and Wildenhain.
Absent – Councilors Clemente, Grebien, and Moran.
President Barry presides.
UPON RECOMMENDATION OF THE ORDINANCE COMMITTEE THE FOLLOWING AMENDMENT TO THE FOLLOWING ENTITLED ORDINANCE IS PASSED ON A ROLL CALL VOTE, AS FOLLOWS:
AYES - President Barry, Councilors Bray, Carr, Hodge, and Wildenhain.
NOES – Councilor Hoyas.
AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF ARTICLE VIII OF CHAPTER 88 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET ENTITLED, “SCHOOL COMMITTEE” (Compensation)
(b) The health and dental and life insurance benefits received by the members of the School Committee shall be the same as the health and dental and life insurance benefits received by the members of the City Council.
The following ordinance is read for the first time AS AMENDED and PASSED on a roll call vote, as follows:
AYES - President Barry, Councilors Bray, Carr, Hodge, and Wildenhain.
NOES – Councilor Hoyas.
