A special session of the City Council is held Tuesday, June 4, 1991, at six thirty-three o’clock p.m. All the members are present except Councilmen William Lynch and Rabbitt; President Houle presides.
COUNCILMAN RABBITT ARRIVES AT 6:40 P.M.
COUNCILMAN WILLIAM LYNCH ARRIVES AT 6:41 P.M.
THE FOLLOWING PETITION WAS LAID ON THE TABLE AT THE MEETING HELD MAY 22, 1991, AND IS AGAIN TAKEN UP:
Petition for FLEA MARKET LICENSE of Downtown Pawtucket Improvement Association to operate a Flea Market beginning at the Main Street Bridge to the Corner of Main & Dexter Streets; and on Roosevelt Avenue from the Corner of Main Street to the Corner of Exchange St. LIC #807.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILMAN KINDER.
With majority consent of the Council, upon Motion made by Councilman Kinder seconded by Councilman Barry, to change the Boundaries of the Flea Market to BEGIN AT THE INTERSECTION OF EAST AVENUE AND MAIN STREET TO THE CORNER OF MAIN AND DEXTER STREETS, is passed on a roll call vote as follows:
Ayes - President Houle, Councilmembers Barry, Calista, Doyle, Kinder, Robert Lynch, William Lynch, Rabbitt, and Vieira.
Noes - 0.
Upon Motion made by Councilman Kinder seconded by Councilman Barry, the following application is APPROVED AS AMENDED on a roll call vote as follows:
Ayes - President Houle, Councilmembers Barry, Doyle, Kinder, William Lynch, and Vieira.
Noes - Councilmen Calista, Robert Lynch, and Rabbitt.
